Mrs. Gaythri Devi, a trailblazer in wildlife photography with over 20 years of experience, brings unmatched passion and expertise to The unChartered Expeditions. Hailing from Pollachi and shaped by the Nilgiris’ rich biodiversity, she is among Tamil Nadu’s first women to excel in this field. Her award-winning work spans India’s sanctuaries and the Masai Mara, earning honors like Photographer of the Year at the 2017 International Camera Fair. As a government-certified trainer, she mentors photographers through workshops and leads immersive wildlife tours, helping others see the wild through her unique lens.
Jeswin Kingsly’s journey from Marine Engineering to wildlife conservation is a powerful story of passion and purpose. Raised in a hunting family near the biodiverse Western Ghats, he took a different path, working with WWF on tiger and elephant conservation projects in Central India and the Nilgiris. His deep interest in snakes and butterflies led him to co-found “Wildlife Wranglers,” promoting conservation through education. Jeswin has assisted in conflict mitigation efforts, contributed to the award-winning film Kaliru, and was mentored by Belinda Wright at Kipling Camp. His work as a naturalist and wildlife photographer continues to inspire and protect India’s rich biodiversity.
